Git

The project Git tab shows ShipCode worktrees, branches, diffs, and cleanup state for the selected repository.

The view is apps/desktop/src/renderer/features/project/project-git-visualizer.tsx, backed by the shared GitVisualizer component.

What it shows

  • Pipeline worktrees and their branches
  • Dirty/clean state for each worktree
  • Side-by-side diffs for the selected worktree
  • Branch divergence and cleanup candidates

Actions

  • Auto-commit groups dirty worktree changes into AI-generated commits when enabled in Settings.
  • Cleanup surfaces merged/closed PR worktrees and branches according to the configured cleanup criteria.
  • Refresh reloads branch/worktree/diff state from git.

Cleanup uses persisted worktree paths as the source of truth. It does not recompute paths from the current settings value.
