Desktop AppActivity

Activity

Activity is the global timeline for pipeline runs and agent actions across all projects in your workspace. It is optimized for chronological inspection: what ran, what changed phase, what finished, and what needs follow-up.

The component is apps/desktop/src/renderer/components/ActivityView.tsx.

What it shows

  • Day-grouped timeline rows
  • Actor chips for agent, GitHub, automation, and app-generated events
  • Issue/thread title and subtitle
  • Relative timestamps
  • Click-through to the owning project and thread when an event is tied to one

Click-through

Clickable rows switch the active project and select the associated thread. For deeper inspection, open the thread from the project board or Terminal drawer.

Overview Dashboard

The top sidebar item is now Overview. It replaced the older “Mission Control” naming and shows the dashboard: running agents, task counts, pending approvals, shipped-last-7-days, recent tasks, iteration analytics, and active pipeline cards.

Notifications

Activity uses the same underlying event stream that powers Inbox and notifications. Configure which events notify in Settings → Notifications:

EventDefaultDescription
approvalonRun needs human approval before execution
failedonPipeline errored out
completedonPR successfully opened and stays in Inbox until dismissed
verificationExhaustedonVerifier exhausted its retry budget without passing
ciBlockedonLinked PR checks or review state require attention

Toggles for OS notifications, badge counter, and notification sound all live in the same settings section.

  • Inbox — focused triage queue for unread items that need attention (needs approval, failed, completed, verification_exhausted, ci_blocked)
  • Costs — per-thread cost aggregation you can click through to
  • Kanban Board — per-project phase view
